The JEE Apex Board has fixed 26th December as the last date of submitting the application forms which will be made available from 15th November.
One of the most awaited examinations in the country, the JEE Main and JEE Advanced is just round the corner. The last date for the submission of the online application forms has been finalized as December 26th. Aspirants who have been eagerly anticipating the online application forms can now access them from 15th November from the website that has been mentioned below.
The date of the JEE (Mains) Examination has been fixed on a single day on 6th April 2014. It has also been announced that the morning session would take place from 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM and that of the afternoon from 2 PM to 5 PM.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared that the online application forms for the JEE (Mains) would be made available on www.jeemain.nic.in along with detailed instructions on filling the form.
The Joint Entrance Test for the year 2014 that is scheduled to be held as announced is going to play a key role in deciding the eligibility of the candidates for admission into IIITs, NITs, Technical institutions that are fully aided by either the Central or the State Governments and many others.
As per the details that have been listed by the JEE Board on their website, the conditions for the suitability of the candidates for the Mains and the Advanced examinations vary from each other. It is therefore pertinent that the candidates go through the eligibility criteria for both the examinations in detail. This will work to clear the confusion in the minds of the candidates about their eligibility for the JEE Mains as well as the JEE Advanced.
The candidates who fulfill the qualifying standards for the JEE Mains set by the JEE Board can also approach the facilitation centers set by the board for assistance. The Facilitation Centres that are located in several places in the country provide free assistance to the candidates in filling the online application forms. The names of these centres in different cities have also been made available on the official web page of the JEE Apex Board.
As per norms of the Governing Council, the JEE Mains Examinations are going to consist of two papers depending upon the course. The first paper will cover the subjects that make the candidate eligible for the BE/ B.Tech courses and paper two are for the aspirants of B.Arch/B Planning.
The candidates who are going to appear for Paper One will be required to answer non-subjective questions that will be designed with equal emphasis on Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. The second paper is also going to consist of non-subjective questions.
It has also been decided that paper one of the JEE Mains is going to be conducted online. The dates of the online examination are scheduled as April 9th, 11th 12th and 19th.
The first paper of JEE Main will also be held online (Computer Based Examination). For this, four dates have been finalized as April 9, 11, 12 and 19.
