Rajasthan wins this time with Chitraang Murdia being IIT topper
Chitraang Murdia has not only made Rajasthan proud but also the whole nation by topping in the IIT exam with a score of 334 on 360 total marks. This super genius has set a record for future generations by getting such superb marks in IIT.
He is followed by 5 female candidates who are amongst the top 100 rankers. Aditi from Roorkee has scored the 7th all India rank. Here we see that both men and women are competing with each other for the best seat. There is no inequality or difference. This shows progress and a forward march of the nation. These kids have made us all proud of them.
Our Delhi topper is Srajan Garg who has also made it to the top and giving everybody a pleasant surprise, after all the capital of India, Delhi is not to be left behind.
The IIT JEE exam took place on 25th May 2014 with 1.19 lakh students participating in this great undertaking.
Out of 1,26,997 registered students only 27,151 qualified for the exam with 19,416 in common merit list, 6000 OBC and 4400 in SC. These statistics show that it is not that easy a feat to crack the IIT JEE exams and only the best bag the seat in IIT. It can be seen from the fact that only 1.5 lakh rank holders of JEE mains was allowed to sit for JEE advanced.
The interesting part is that not only is this exam applied for IIT admissions only but is also applicable for admission to ISM Dhanbad.
Once the JEE advanced results are declared the IIT and ISM aspirants can go for their chosen courses and subjects. They can now open up the pathway for success depending on their scores. This will start on June 20th till June 24th 2014.
