Circular Motion JEE Chapterwise Analysis, Weightage and Overview
With just 5 direct questions, it doesn’t attract a lot of questions. However, like with all of physics, this goes on to serve as the fundamental of all motions that have a circular pattern. It is very important to know the basics equations and the fundamentals. .

Q. in vertical circular motion of a pendulum when we cut down the string why the bob do free fall, despite of tangential accelretion?
Tension not only provides the centripetal force necessary for circular motion but also balances the component of weight along the string. component of weight along the string is mgcosθ. Thus, T−mgcosθ= L mv 2⇒T=mgcosθ+ L mv 2.
Q. A tube of length l is filled completely with an imcompressible liquid of mass M and closed at both ends .the tube is then rotated in a horizontal plane about one of its ends with a uniform angular velocity omega .the force exerted by the liquid at the other end is?
The force exerted by liquid at the other end is the centripetal force due to rotation.
The case can be treated as rotation of the center of mass of the liquid at distance L/2 from the axis of rotation.
Hence force exerted by liquid at the end = 1/2*Mw2L
due to rotation there will centripetal force so f+df is taken
