The All India ranking result of JEE Mains to be declared on 7th July 2014!
“The Day” is approaching on July 7th 2014 when the JEE Mains ranking result will be declared. Engineering aspirants wait with baited breath as their fate will be decided on this historic day. CBSE who is responsible for this national level exam said that they have postponed the result of class 12th from June 27th to June 30th 2014.
Approximately 12.5 lakh students took the exam and are now awaiting result with the desperate hope of getting into the best engineering college.
The main reason for the delay in marks conformation is because of the state board not declaring marks and submitting a report in time. This cause has pushed the deadline to a later date. The confirmation of marks is imperative as it is required by the students to complete online admission formalities. The rankings will be used by all India prestigious universities as well as NIT and IIT.
The admission process for private universities is usually completed by May ie midway and very soon in the next few days they will wind up their management quota also. At prestigious universities such as BITS VIT SRM and Manipal the seats are already full since their admission process has been completed.
All one needs to do, to be able to view their current marks for JEE mains, is to enter online their JEE mains roll number, application number and date of birth. Prior to this select the education board one is affiliated to. If there is any discrepancy then one has to upload their mark sheet to ensure smooth functioning. A 60% weight age will be give to JEE Mains scores and 40% to the 12 th class scores and this will decide JEE mains ranking.
