JEE Mains is considered as the first phase of the exam whereas JEE Advanced is the second phase. This ensures that only the students who manage to qualify for the first phase of exams, JEE Mains, are eligible to sit for the next phase, JEE Advanced, of the exams.
JEE Mains 2023
As we have already discussed JEE Mains, this phase of JEE is the first step that the students need to take, who are also willing to make a chance for them in the NITs and the IITs along with all the other engineering colleges across India.
There are around 20 IITs, 31 NITs, and Centrally Funded Technical Institutes, which are currently 18 in number, along with other technical colleges for the students to live their dreams forward of studying in an engineering college. The JEE Mains 2023 exams will be conducted by the NTA. The National Testing Agency is the same organization that will declare the results and administers the whole process. This exam needs to be cleared by the students with high marks in order to let them sit for the next tier of JEE, also known as JEE Advanced 2023.
The JEE 2023 exams will be conducted in 4 seasons, which will be held in the months of February, March, April, and May, where the students have the option to appear in any of the four seasons. The best session in which they have performed will be considered for a particular student and on this basis, he will be declared eligible or not for the JEE Advanced.
