Question

Find the measure of the angle of intersection of the lines whose equations are 3x + 4y + 7 = 0 and 4x – 3y + 5 = 0.

Solution

Correct option is

0

Given lines are 3x + 4y + 7 = 0, 4x – 3y + 5 = 0

Comparing the given lines with A1x + B1y + C1 = 0,

A2x + B2y + C2 = 0 respectively, we get

      A1 = 3, B1 = 4 and A2 = 4, B2 = –3

Hence the given lines are perpendicular.
