Question

A certain particle carries 2.5 × 10–16 C of static electric charge. Calculate the number of electrons present in it.

Solution

Correct option is

1560

Charge carried by one electron = 1.6022 × 10–19 C

∴ Electrons present in particle carrying 2.5 × 10–16 C charge
