Is the point (2, –7) lie on origin side of the line 2x + + 2 = 0?

Correct option is

f(2, –7) < 0

Let f(xy) ≡ 2x + y + 2

        f(2, –7) < 0 and constant 2 > 0

Hence the point (2, –7) lies on non-origin side.
